Our solutions can be found in some of the most advanced engineering and architectural developments across the U.S. Below are just some of our latest projects.
Gulf Place hosts the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships and thousands of visitors every year. Situated just feet from the Gulf of Mexico near saltwater, the concrete pavilions were constructed using MCI 2005 for corrosion protection and crystalline waterproofing technology.
The concrete tanks constructed to house the dolphins saved during Hurricane Katrina needed to be durable and safe. MCI 2005 NS corrosion inhibitor was chosen to increase the service life and protect the rebar from corrosion. Most important, MCI 2005 NS is certified safe to use with potable water.
The Lodge and all ancillary buildings utilized MCI 2005 corrosion inhibitor to increase the service life of the infrastructure and save the project (and taxpayers) money. This was a LEED gold project. For more information on the solution and technology, visit Construction Specifier Magazine’s article, Bio-based Corrosion Inhibitors.
CMC Steel is a manufacturing facility where abrasion on the concrete is frequent and can cause repair or replacement much sooner than desired. To gain longer service life of new concrete, they chose Hard-Cem for abrasion resistance.
The school expansion included concrete foundations for both academic areas and athletic facilities that needed to be protected from moisture penetration and vapor which can cause floors to de-bond. The project chose Krystol Internal Membrane and provided an industry-leading 25-year waterproofing warranty.
